主要根據(jù)肉兔本身的質(zhì)量性狀或數(shù)量性狀在一個(gè)兔群內(nèi)個(gè)體表型值差異，選擇個(gè)體，淘汰低劣個(gè)體。常用的有剔除法、更優(yōu)法和總分法等3種。

(3)總分法對(duì)每個(gè)性狀根據(jù)優(yōu)劣進(jìn)行評(píng)分，將幾個(gè)性狀累汁，總分更高的個(gè)體即予留種。例如，某養(yǎng)兔場(chǎng)對(duì)一兔群進(jìn)行選擇，希望選出產(chǎn)仔率(L)高、早熟(M)、肉質(zhì)(Q)、毛皮品質(zhì)(P)好的個(gè)體留作種用。每個(gè)性狀根據(jù)優(yōu)劣分成10級(jí)，分別計(jì)分為]一10分。
