(1)天然牧草。主要包括草地草坡，以及平原田間地頭自然生長的野生雜草。如早熟禾、尾草、車前草、豬殃殃、一年蓬、野莧菜、胡枝子、蒲公英、馬齒莧、青蒿等。其中有些具有藥用價(jià)值，如蒲公英具有催乳作用，馬齒莧具有止瀉、抗球蟲作用，青蒿具有抗毒、抗球蟲等作用。長毛兔對各種天然牧草的適口性不同，鮮草適口性好的，就當(dāng)青綠飼料利用，如果鮮草利用適口性不好，而其營養(yǎng)價(jià)值較高的，可制成青干草利用。

(1) Natural forage. It mainly includes grassland grass slope and wild weeds growing naturally in plain field. Such as Poa pratensis, Setaria viridis, Plantago asiatica, calamus asiatica, annual fleabane, wild amaranth, Lespedeza bicolor, dandelion, purslane, Artemisia annua and so on. (2)栽培牧草。主要包括黑麥草、蘇丹草、紫云英、紫花苜蓿、魯梅克斯、串葉松香草、墨西哥玉米等。栽培牧草多數(shù)是經(jīng)過人工選育栽培的牧草，產(chǎn)量高，質(zhì)量好，既可鮮喂，也可曬制干草加工成配合飼料，是長毛兔的飼料，對長毛兔飼養(yǎng)產(chǎn)業(yè)的發(fā)展和效益的提高有著不可替代的作用。

(2) Cultivating forage. Mainly including ryegrass, Sudan grass, astragalus, alfalfa, Rumex, rosin, Mexican corn and so on. Most of the cultivated forages are cultivated by artificial selection. They have high yield and good quality. They can be fed fresh or dried into compound feed. They are high quality feed for long-haired rabbits and play an irreplaceable role in the development of long-haired rabbit feeding industry and the improvement of its benefits.

(3)蔬菜類。主要包括青菜、大白菜、胡蘿卜、蘿卜菜、牛皮菜、甘薯葉、甘藍(lán)葉等。蔬菜類作物產(chǎn)量高，尤其在冬春缺乏青綠飼料的季節(jié)，可作為長毛兔的青飼料來補(bǔ)充飼喂，蔬菜類青綠飼料具有清火通便作用，含有豐富的維生素。因蔬菜類飼料含水分高，應(yīng)適當(dāng)控制喂量，以防止腹瀉等疾病的發(fā)生。

(3) Vegetables. Mainly including green vegetables, Chinese cabbage, carrots, radish vegetables, kale, sweet potato leaves, cabbage leaves and so on. Vegetable crops yield is high, especially in winter and spring when there is a lack of green feed. Vegetable green feed can be used as supplementary feed for rabbits. Vegetable green feed has the function of clearing fire and relieving constipation, and is rich in vitamins. Because of the high moisture content of vegetable feed, the feeding quantity should be controlled properly to prevent the occurrence of diarrhea and other diseases.

(4)樹葉類。主要包括紫穗槐葉、松針、桑樹葉、柳樹葉、香椿樹葉等。其中生長茂盛、葉片細(xì)嫩、營養(yǎng)豐富的紫穗槐葉、馬尾松針和桑樹葉等，維生素、蛋白質(zhì)含量高，是長毛兔的飼料。尤其是紫穗槐葉，營養(yǎng)非常豐富，粗蛋白、維生素含量高，其粗蛋白含量高于紫花苜蓿。而且對兔的適口性較好，鮮喂或干喂長毛兔均喜食。

(4) Leaves. It mainly includes the leaves of Amorpha fruticosa, pine needles, mulberry leaves, willow leaves, Toon Leaves and so on. Among them, Robinia pseudoacacia leaves, masson pine needles and mulberry leaves, which are rich in growth, tender leaves and nutrients, have high vitamin and protein content and are high quality feed for rabbits. Especially the leaves of Amorpha fruticosa are rich in nutrients, high in crude protein and vitamins, and their crude protein content is higher than that of alfalfa.
